Update 2:

oookay then. ill take that as a yes.

i know its haram to have a bf….like NO ****…

but my friend needs to make her own mistakes…she dosent listen to me when i tell her to break up with him…and im sure that these rude comments arent going to do anything so please stop.

that girl: she hasnt done anything with him except talk and hug. So do me a favor? Stop jumping to conclusions…shes only 13.

There is no such concept of boyfriend and girlfriend in Islam.

There is no chatting, no friendships, nothing of the like.

When talking to someone you are interested in marrying, a male relative has to be on the phone hearing everything.

Remember, the third party is always the shaytaan when a man and woman are alone!

Assalamu alaikum Facebook, use is allowed to keep in touch with relatives and female: friends, coworkers or schoolmates, but not to socialize with men. Attracting the opposite sex: I think that’s out of the question all the time, not only during Ramadan. We must not tempt others. Watching dirty reality tv shows(ex. Jersey Shore) same answer as above. Swimming: it’s ok as long as you have privacy. Men cannot see you swimming, not even women can see u in a bathing suit. Talking to the opposite sex(ex. friend or boyfriend): Islam doesn’t allow us boyfriend/ girlfriend relationships, and any other relationships with the opposite sex, except marriage. Masturbation: it’s haram all the time, not only during Ramadan. Listening to Music: Music it’s ok as long as the lyrics are not about something haram. We can listen music when we travel or work. Staying idle and just listening without doing nothing else is haram. During Ramadan we can replace the music with Quran and Nasheeds.

Looking at a boy without a good reason is haram.

Staying alone in a room with a boy in haram.

    Touching boy is haram.

When I say boy I mean a boy who is not your brother/father/father-in-law/real uncle…

During the month of Ramadan, you will get more sins for doing something like this.

Tell your friend that she can have all the fun she wants with her bf right now in this life but she can go to hell after death. It’s her choice and her problem.

    WDF?? such a retarded Q…

u ain’t posed having a bf in da first place… I know my dad told me if a non-mahram just touches u, like physical contact with non mahrams would break ur fast (not sure if that’s true) But wow why da hell do u have a boyfriend that u’re kissing n god knows what else..but u’re so concerned about breaking ur fast..? Being on ur best behavior isn’t just a once a year during ramadan, u’re supposed to be that way all time. BREAK UP with him for the sake of Allah(swt) or just tell him to come to your house for a proposal…

Okay tell ur “friend” what i just wrote

Boyfriend it haram in Islam. So try to solve this problem first and then we think about if talking to a man breaks fasting or not.

    LOL at ur Edit.

Alright, talking to him would break fasting for sure. Anything that is haram breaks fasting, and having a boyfriend and talking to him are haram, so her fasting is just about food and water, which is totally against the meaning of fasting in Islam.

    I am dating a muslim

man who recently invited me for dinner with his mother and father. And now Ramadan has started and I have not talked to him. He asked for a break before Ramadan. Is this normal?

    WOW !!!

    This is like.. OMG !!

    *sigh*

    Tell your friend this…

Having a boyfriend in the first place is a grave sin !! Let her please break up with him, or marry him. Ramadan is a month where a muslim does things to please Allah, if good deeds are done during Ramadan and then when it is over, everything goes back to the same state again, then what is the point of Ramadan?

Ask her to split up now, for the sake of Allah and repent to Allah for the sin. Let her lower her gaze and guard her modesty.

first of all, kissing your boyfriend is haraam. And furthermore, during ramadan it is a grave sin. Why should I break the fast? is allah (swt) important or the boyfriend?

@Guys please dont swear, she is here to learn, not to get bitten by us. So control your anger and teach her
