My scorpio has been asking me to have his baby since day one. I am a Cancer, independent, own job, house, car and no kids yet. He is only the 3rd guy ive been with. He already has two from past relationships. He is so set on it and said the other day that he couldn’t wait until i got prego so i would be stuck in the house. He even says we will marry and i have met his folks and friends. He thinks everyone wants me and gets very possessive and jealous..Is the baby a control tactic or love? If so wouldn’t it be a little overboard to use something so permanent and life changing as a means to control.
During one of our fights a few months back i had got an abortion after not hearing from him one weekend i wanted to talk to him about missing my period. He held off and ignored me so i changed my number and got the abortion. It tore me apart. But he came back and his been even more on the prowl for a baby ever since…what is his deal?
Another thing…when he is so aloof and distant why would he still want a baby so bad. I mean he tells me he loves me and cant live without me but his behavior seems backwards

Yes, he is using this as a form of control. Even if you HAD a child, you would only be stuck in the house for a little while, then you could go back to work after you settle some things in and make arrangements for help with the baby. I would imagine that he would want you to quit your job for good. Some men like the idea of a woman barefoot, in the house and pregnant. But this is for control, so the woman can’t get out of their clutches.
My advice: Stand your ground. If you don’t want a kid right now, that is your business. He can’t force you to have a baby. He is definitely wanting control, because most guys don’t get all excited over the prospect of having a baby. Especially when they are in their 20’s.
