  Dear friend

  Accepting shares for the development of Kannur International Airport started. Face value of the share will be Rs.100/- . Any body willing to take minimum 2,00,100 Rs. shares can apply. Application has to be prepared in white paper. The complete addresss , telephone numbers and the number of shares applied details etc are to be furnished in the application form. The Director Board has decided to issue shares only to the persons who are ready to apply for minimum Rs. 2,00,100/- .shares. 25 % of the share value has to be send in advance in the form of demand draft along with the application form. For example a person willing to apply for shares of Rs. 2,00,100/- has to take a demand draft for Rs. 50,025/- Demand draft should be drawn infavorr of Kannur International Airport Ltd, payable at Thirvananthapuram. Demand draft and application has to besendd to the address ” M/s Kannur International Airport Limited, Parvathi, TC 36/1, N.H. Bye Pass, Chakka, Thiruvananthapuram-695024″ . The last date for the receiptof applicationn is on 31-01-2011. You can not sell the shares for 5 years. The Director Board Meeting to be held after 31-01-2011 will decide how many shares has to be given to each applicants. Rejected applicants will get their demand draft amount back.

  There is still lot of ambiguities around the share allotment. The latest I heard was minimum allotment is 2001 shares each valuing 100 Rs. There is no maximum cap for the number of shares in one application. Along with the application a DD for 25% of the amount should be sent across. The deadline for submission is before 31 Jan 2011.

  No clarity on where the application form can be obtained and in what name the DD to be sent across.

  I think there will be no invitation through add. and you can collect it from their office at Kannur or Trivandrum. Addresses are available at KIAL website..
