What’s this christmas song called? It’s all instrumental with no words and is a happy catchy song?

Update:

I hear it every christmas and I don’t think there are any words that go with it (eg there’s only this one version of the song), it kinda sounds irish if that makes sense, like something you could picture people doing irish dancing to, I heard it on GMTV and can’t think of any other ways to describe it or give more detail

I’m guessing you mean ‘In Dulci Jubilo’ by Mike Oldfield if you haven’t already found it. I was just looking for it myself.

Many Christmas carols have instrumental versions. If you heard it on the radio, look at the radio station’s website. They might tell you the name of the song. SLeigh ride sounds like a good guess– it does have lyrics but many ppl don’t recall em.

Sleigh Ride by Leroy Anderson? This version is all instrumental and has no words. There are versions of sleigh ride with words but one i hear mostly on the radio is this version. Its a ‘happy catchy song’ in my opinion. This is what it sounds like…

    Other instrumental songs could be:

Wizards in Winter by Trans Siberian Orchestra

Carol of the Bells by Trans Siberian Orchestra

Carol of the Bells by David Foster

variety of songs by Manheim Steamroller

    Sleigh Ride has lyrics.

    You haven’t given enough information.

edit: It may be Greensleeves, also known as “What Child Is This?” It does have lyrics, but the instrumental is widely known.

You need to provide a sound bite or something. Your descriptions tells us nothing.
