I got love for you means he had love for you but is not in love with you. Like, I have a guy friend who I care a lot about. I got love for him.
I’m in love with you represents a much more intimate feeling. For instance, the guy that I am dating, I love him very much, I would say that I am in love with him instead of I got love for him.
Hope this helps.

When someone says that they HAVE love for you mean: I love you as a person. I like you as a friend. It means I would cry if you died. vs. I’m in love with you means they just love you.

They are very different being in love with someone is when your have a significant other you care about would do anything for trust ect. having love for someone is for like friends and family when you care about them and love them but you wouldnt have a relationship with them. Like your friend you can have love for them but you might be in love with your girlfriend

i think i got love for you means like I respect you or I’ll do anything for you.
and I’m in love with you means I can’t live without you…. blah blah blah.
haha.

Depends on the person, I guess.
But would you say, “I’m in love with you” to your mom? How about “I got love for you”? Look at it that way.
