I’m trying to decide on a new pair of bird hunting boots and I’m a little confused on what to get. I go grouse hunting and turkey hunting and am trying to get into duck hunting, so while walking, I do walk through some shallow creeks and do some hunting in the rain, so a big concern is wet feet. I have narrowed my search down to 2 sets of boots, and one has Ultra dry and the other Gore-tex, so I don’t know what would be better. Any info on the topic would be greatly appreciated.

Gore-Tex is waterproof and breathable. Moisture in vapor form can penetrate the membrane so that if you sweat the perspiration is not trapped in the boot. Possibly not a big deal in the cold weather.
As far as I can tell UltraDry is not breathable.
Based on the sale price, I’d go with the ROCKY® Bearclaw 3D
I have a pair if rocky bear claws that is in their 9th season of hunting deer, turkey and waterfowl. They have been well used and abused. My bear claws are still the most comfortable boot I have ever owned, but my feet are bone dry every time I take them off.
Gore-tex is just a brand name, like kleenex. While kleenex are facial tissues, not all facial tissues are kleenex.
Funny funny funny
$5.00 or $10.00 per pair of boots ?
