The vehicle on the car lot said the color was Pewter. Looked Silver to me. What is the difference?
Pewter is a metal alloy, traditionally between 85 and 99 percent tin, with the remainder consisting of copper and antimony, acting as hardeners, with the addition of lead for the lower grades of pewter, which have a bluish tint.
Seems more or less like the colour silver only.
difference color silver pewter
Pewter is any of various alloys of tin with small amounts of other metals (especially lead) AND Silver is a soft white precious univalent metallic element having the highest electrical and thermal conductivity of any metal; occurs in argentite and in free form; used in coins and jewelery and tableware and photography OR A light shade of grey.
