    In such cases, we make the denominators equal.

    Multiplying the first fraction by 4 and leave the 2nd fraction as it is.

    12/16 and 9/16

    Now the denominators are equal. we check out the numerators.

    Obviously the first one is larger.

    So, 3/4 is the larger width.
