KORA/HORA pronounced like KO RAH/HO RAH.

Informal term which kinda means “hey!” or “see? and is used to get someone’s attention in a simple but rough tone.

“Kora” doesn’t have any easily translatable or specific meaning. It can mean “hey you!” or “what’s going on here?” in a rather gruff and somewhat impolite fashion. If someone’s challenging you to a fight or otherwise indicate their extreme displeasure with you, they might roar “Kora!!” at you while rolling the “r”. I would guess that in the context you hear it, it might have a rough equivalent to “hey, guess what” – if that is indeed the word you’re hearing

    Hmm…

If you add an extra o.

    コーラ It’s coca-cola πŸ˜‰

But like the answers above me, it can be a way to get people’s attention.

It could mean “hey!” Like for calling out to someone or for scolding. It is also written as “children” depending on the kanji used.

    Hope this helps!
