अण्णा [ aṇṇā ](In Marathi) ind A term of respectful compellation or mention for an elderly male.
अण्णा in Tamil means elder brother.
The “Kisan” in Kisan Babu Rao Hazare may be quoting his family profession. Kisan means a farmer or agriculturist.
Actually it should be “Kishan” (means Krishnan in Tamil). Please check up, Sir.
