    However, in the present-day context, it most likely is used to refer to ‘sex appeal’ or the ‘X-factor’. Alternatively, the word ‘sex appeal’ is also translated to Tagalog as “seksi” and ‘X-factor’ is also translated to Tagalog as “may dating”.

    As can be seen, the word alindog is most closely represented by the English word ‘allure’.
