What is 3960 psi in ft lb of torque?

I know technically you cant convert psi to ft lb but im trying to figure out if the Epoxy that i have, which can handle 3960 psi, would be able to sustain 26 ft lb of torque.

I am trying to get a broken bolt out by putting epoxy on it and turning it out. The bolt was initially torqued to 26 ft lb. The epoxy can handle 3960psi of stress.

The type of stress you’d apply to the joint is shear, not tension.

I don’t hold out much hope unless you have considerably exposed bolt area to work with.

It is not likely to work. What you need is a tool called an EZ-out. It has a left-hand thread. You drill a hole in the bolt, insert the EZ-out and turn it counter clockwise. A little penetrating or heating the block help with stubborn bolts
