I have a frozen chicken in my freezer that is not in its original packaging with the weight information… and in order to cook it properly i need to know how much it weighs…. So i was hoping people had suggestions of items around the house that weighs 3 lbs or 5lbs.. so i can tell by feel (and no, i dont have a scale haha)

How about a large bag of flour? Bag of potatoes? Do you have a laptop that you know the weight? Better yet, cook your chicken with a thermometer so you get the right temperature and correct doneness.
Instead of going by weight why not go by temperature which more accurate anyway? Just stick an oven safe meat themometer in the bird and cook until it reaches temp. Easier and your guessing game….
