This is only going to completely dry out your hair. Think about how your hair feels after it has been in a swimming pool or used entirely too much hairspray. It feels disgusting, and all the smoothness is removed from your hair. The best way to decolorize or “bleach” your hair would be to use a powder lightener(AKA Bleach) and a developer. DO NOT USE HOUSEHOLD PEROXIDE or RUBBING ALCOHOL. This will do nothing but create a problem that you will not be able to get out of and be happy about.

Rubbing Alcohol
Peroxide, lemon juice, and alcohol will all change your hair color but they do horrid damage while they change it. In most people they also bring out the red in the hair(everyone has some) and end up making your hair a very nasty orange color. If you are hoping to make your hair blonde in a natural way then you have to go stand in the sun until it changes on it’s own because adding anything to dark hair to get it to go blonde is damaging. Not to mention that blonde hair is the most likely to break and to fall out(who says blondes have more fun?)

DO NOT DO IT
i tried both rubbing alcohol and peroxide, and both fried my hair to a crisp
in STILL trying to reverse the damage 6 months later!
and it doesnt even work
your hair MAY turn a slight copper tone, but that is only after about 8 to 9 treatments
if you REALLY want your hair to be blonde, then go get some real bleach
Im sorry but maybe it depends on ur hair type. I started using it to kill lice on my daughter’s long thick dark hair and it not only killed the lice quickly it made her and my sons hair so soft and even more easy to comb though I was amazed. I even used it on mine days after powder lighting it (scared it wld ruin it) but I had to and it did NO damage to color and made it softer. To each it may be different but for my kids and I it worked wonders, but I only use it when I have to and have never done it any kind of regularly.
During the summer I was trying to grow my hair from hot combing it and I put a lot of rubbing alchol in my hair as it was growing and now it’s stuck you can still see parts and cuts from my last hair cut and my hair not growing at all it fills dry and crispy what should I do ???
It would really damage your hair… most people dye their hair with peroxide but that should even be left to the professionals to reduce to instances of damage! DON’T TRY IT!
