what does this message mean no render is selected please select one?

  it usually comes when you have not selected any particular rendering engine (opengl or directx) for rendering the game onto the screen.

  run the setup of the game again.

  Check whether freedom.ini file was corrupted..mine was corrupted

  So I replaced the file and now it runs
