I think it’s just the guys nickname to sound extreme or hardcore or something (his name in the movie is Xander so….)
If your friend has XXX tattooed on her, I think a lot people will just think she means it in a “XXX hardcore porn” kind of way rather than relate it to the film though (type “xxx” into google and have a look at the results)… perhaps you should mention that to her.

There is no real meaning, the main characters name is Xander, all of the stunts you see in the movie are the sort you see in the X-games, and he participates in eXtreme sports. But it is just a nickname.

In this childish culture, “XXX” is a euphemism for sex.
Children think they’re cool just by uttering the word “sex”.
It’s simply a marketing ploy aimed at kids (their target audience).
