It means ‘Miscellaneous debit’. In accounting a debit (something taken out) is shortened to Dr and a credit (something put in) shortened to Cr. Normally with entries detailed on your statement they would show cheque entries by using the cheque number, standing orders would show as ‘Sto’, direct debits by ‘DD’ and other items Misc Dr. This could be a variety of entries so if you cannot identify what it is ask your bank.
