I know it’s from “Fifty shades of Grey” but some girl keeps saying it to me and telling me to read the book and I will get it, BUT I have no interest in the book so maybe someone can just tell me, please.
That’s what I “thought” as well but apparently it has some deeper meaning that you have to read the book to understand.

There is no real meaning behind it, but it is what Elliot says to Kate, and it is also what Christian says to Ana. Basically, it means “See you later, baby.”. I also guess, that since it was pretty much the first time Christian said “Goodbye” to Ana, and called her “Baby” (from Ana’s perspective), then that could be the significance. I don’t know why people think there is a deeper meaning to it, it is pretty much self explanatory.

It’s just a slang for see ya later and the baby part is a term of endearment.
