like chips at the beach let’s say (about 3-4 chips) out of the blue he came up to me and started feeding me – oh and btw i think he likes me based on other reasons

well there are three reasons why someone of the opp.sex feeds you..
1. he/she likes you and has feelings for you..(which is most probable in this case as you said he came out of the blue and started feeding you and perhaps talked..which is weird for a guy to come out of nowhere and shove chips in your mouth..well lol)
2. when he/she is a member of your family and cares about you, either you are hurt physically or traumatized mentally..and he/she feels sad…
3. the third one is a little different..what we see in movies..when the couple has been friends for soo long that they have gone above the whole institution of marriage and bf and gfs..(most unlikely probable in your case as you didn’t know the guy…)
so..if YOU think he was cute or good ..then maybe you should try to take this chips relationship further…he must have given you a contact number..if not ..then facebook maybe..or if no contact info..then you should forget about it…
