and what does 1cl in ml

0.7 Litires or 700 ml
It’s like centimetre and milimetre- 100 centimetres make a metre and 100 centilitres make a litre.
So 10 millisomthings make a centisomthing.
I’m thinking you saw this on a bottle of wine, right? I can’t think of any good reason wine bottles are measured in centilitres rather than millilitres, when nothing else seems to be.
The prefix centi and milli are part of the SI scale of units. The idea being you only need one form of measurement for every property, and just multiply it up for bigger and smaller things.
cent=latin for 100
mil=latin for 1000
so 70 cl=70 CENTilitres (7 100ths of a litre)
so 70 cl=700 MILilitres (7 1000ths of a litre)
so 1 cl=10ml
there are 1000cl in a litre, so u have .7 of a litre. Just for interest, 1 Litre weighs 1 Kilogram. So 1000 Litres is 1 Tonne in weight.
1 cl in ml = 10 ml
so 70 cl = 700 ml
also 70 cl = 0.7 of a litre!
hope this helps!
cl is most likely centiliter, 1/100th of a liter. So 70cl would be 0.7 liters or 700 milliliters (ml).
A bottle
70cl is 700ml or 7deci litres

RE:
what does 70cl mean?
and what does 1cl in ml
Besides what everyone else above, says… A normal “5th” of liquor or a normal wine bottle is 75 cl, or 750 ml. So, 70 cl is the amount of liquid in an open bottle of wine or 5th of vodka with approximately one shot taken out of it.
.
700 mls Or in English measure just under a pint and a quarter pt.
