What do you have with your Boxing Day cold turkey and pickles? Chips or mash?

  Mash for me to Carnival Queen! I love mash any day of the week too!

  Mash every time!My husband always asks “are we having chips with our cold meat?”But cold meats and pickles wouldn,t taste the same without mash.

  Bubble and Sqeak mash with left over brussels and stir fry the turkey.

  Best ever turkey sandwich, includes turkey, cranberry, mashed potatoes, bread dressing ,mayo and a little S&P.

  Neither.

  we use a recipe from a book my mam got the year I was born (late 70s) for Turkey a la king. It’s become a christmas institution now and is awesome.

  creamy and peppery with lots of green pepper. Served with rice it’s lush!

  Has to be oven cooked chips, along with any other veg left-overs.

  Today it’s cold turkey, new potatoes, sprouts, peas and carrots, with chips, and plenty home made apple sauce.

  Boxing Day is ALWAYS “Bubble”. Chips come later in the week if you still have any cold meats left !
