I received something in the mail as well. It was claiming to be my new PIN number for a card that was recently sent to me. There was no company name on the envelope or anywhere inside.
I did not apply for a new line of credit, let alone receive any card in the mail. The scary thing? The PIN number that they issued me was a PIN that I’m already using!!!
I definitely will be investigating this.

It is not a scam for one. If you search the number, as I did, it is Merrick Bank. You probably applied and got accepted for A Merrick credit card. I got a Merrick Bank credit card and the number on the PIN number letter is 18777276881 which is Merrick Bank’s customer service. So whoever said it is a scam is wrong
Hello everyone it is from Warren federal credit union. I got the same letter and called them up and asked why dont they put a name on the letter they had no answer.
I would say look at the paper…..or envelope that should be able to tell you something.
They don’t put a name on it because if you requested a PIN number for your credit card this is how it comes in the mail so people are less likely to steal the mail . If you notice your new debit cards come the same way.
It was sent from my bank informing me that I should have received my new credit card by the time I received this letter. If not, I should call my bank and let them know. It was a legitimate letter and had my credit card number, the name of my bank and the bank’s phone number. My previous card had expired and a new updated one was sent to me.

Even though it shows Merrick bank for the address, however receiving a letter that says that it’s from Albertsons company with a direct pay does not mean that it’s an actual card company. It is totally a scam. We never said that we are going to have a direct pay we don’t work for Robert Severance companies so they should not have been sent to us.

I received this and was confused but remembered it was for OpenSky credit.
