A Dog – as in a lackey, a groveling servant, as in a boot-licking dog. A dog will remain loyal to its’ master or mistress and still take beatings, come when called even to a whipping, etc.

A Pig – as in someone who is NOT concerned with the feelings of others and only cares for themselves. Often envisioned as a a fat slob of a person who eats non-stop.

A Snake – as in “snake in the grass” – a person who hide their true “evil” personality and then strikes out at others, revealing their true mean self.

Culturally – this is all american but may be used in other countries as well. I know that dogs & pigs are considered “unclean” animals in many muslim communities.

An *** – as in a donkey. Someone who is stupid & stubborn and unwilling to change or grow.

    The answer is….

    A human

We are really the only animal with a concept of disrespect.

Animals tend to be territorial, as are humans, but we have different layers in out mind that let us process things as disrespect, as well as take these punishments. . You may want to go for mythological creatures 🙁

I’m no expert but i would think that an animal that symbolizes disrespect could be a raccoon, a snake, or maybe a fox

In ancient times dogs were disrespectful. Calling someone a dog was a serious insult. And a dog can be beaten by its owner and still be loyal.
