Tennis racquet opinions: Head Ti 10000?

Hi guys, I’m looking to buy a new racquet, that’s cheapish but still powerful so we’re talking about £30-£50 here. One of the racquets I’ve seen for that price is the Head Ti 10000. My current racquet is the Ti 9000, so first of all, is the 10000 better than the 9000 and secondly, anyone know if the 10000 type is any good?

Thanks!

Update:

Yes Jeff, there is a badminton racquet on the market that is also called the ti 10000, it’s very confusing :S

These rackets are no good unless you are a beginner. They’re designed to help someone who does not swing at the ball. If you are happy with 9000 and don’t see yourself improving then whatever racket makes no difference. If you want to improve, then get at least an intermediate racket like Liquidmetal 4 or something – the old power rating would be like 4000 perhaps. Oh the Prince TT Scream is on the market for $50 these days – miles better than the Ti 9000

On another note, this sounds like a badminton racket? I play badminton too so I am a little confused. For badminton rackets forget about head just get a Yonex, not the fake ones on ebay though.

Ti is wayy old.. i suggest u upgrade to at least a liquidmetal. If ur jus looking for something that allows u to smack the sh-t outta the ball and not serious playing, then get like a Liquidmetal 4 or 8.
