South America is to Brazil as North America is to Canada. South America is the largest country on the South American landmass. Canada on the North.

South America is to Brazil as North America is to the United States.

The answer could theoretically be Canada, since Canada and Brazil are the largest countries in its respective subcontinents (in latin america and parts of europe, S. and N. America are subcontinents of the continent called America).

BUT I dount this question is about landmass. Specially because Brazil occupies half of South America and is much larger than every other country, while Canada is not THAT larger compared to the US.

I think this question is about ECONOMIC power and probably population.

Brazil has over half the population and economy of all other South American countries combined.
