could anyone tell me why the sims 2 freetime game keeps crashing?

probably overloading your computer….try google to find some free patches to make it run smoothly with your Sims game.
you might even be able to get the patches from the Sims site – i’m not sure though cause my partner sorted my Sims out by getting patches for me, i dunno where he got them.
they should have an instruction on the site that tell you what to do.
Do you have enough memory in your RAM or enough of the specs to run the game. Normally if you are running the game on the minimum requirements, the game can crash or become glitchy. So get more RAM/harddrive space if its not enough. Sims 2 is a huge game. It takes up lots and lots of space!
I have more than enough memory for Sims2 but it does crash on freetime if you do something wrong (for example building a foundation block on the roof). Sometimes its also glitchy when I loaded it the first time, so I had to restart the computer then run the game again and its fine =)

do u have like 5 other expansion packs installed?
that happened to me so i had to uninstall everything and reinstall the expansion packs i wanted the most
