  Your Vodafone pay as you talk card has its own code number which is ‘linked’ to your phone number. If you lose your card, you can simply pick up a new one from an outlet such as a supermarket or petrol station and you ‘re-link’ it to your phone number. Your mobile phone number is not affected.

  You can pick up replacements in supermarkets and petrol stations, all you do if scratch of the silver strip call up vodafone and when it gives you the option to add another top up card, select it and then follow the instructions.

  Go into any shop which does top ups and ask for a £10 Vodaphone voucher. On it will be a 12 digit number. Dial 2345 and follow the instructions to top up using a voucher.

  I live in the UK. I lost my card, I applied for a new card. When it comes you scratch off a section which revile a number which you register. No you do not loose your number.
