Magnetic Light Switch Ranking Task

Six identical vertical metal bars start at the positions shown below and move at constant velocities through identical magnetic fields. The bars make electrical contact with and move along frictionless metal rods attached to light bulbs.

At the instant shown, rank these six scenarios on the basis of the magnitude of the current in the light bulb.

Rank from largest to smallest. To rank items as equivalent, overlap them.

    Voltage around the loop is proportional to the rate of change of magnetic flux going through the loop.

    ε=dφ/dt

    The voltage and thus the current will be directly proportional to the speed of the rod. Direction in your case does not matter.

    the article is slowing down, after 3 seconds it starts off to pass backwards, velocity = displacement/time as a result displacement = velocity x time at t=2 its at 8m because of the fact velocity=4 time=2 —->4×2=8 at t=3 its at 0m because of the fact velocity=0 time=3 —->0x3=0 and finally t=4 is -sixteen because of the fact velocity=-4 and time=4 as a result its -sixteen so its sixteen from the place it began Plus the guy belows technique works to (y)
