I’m getting my belly button pierced tomorrow and i am really nervous, aha. I am sort of okay with pain i suppose. On a scale of 1-10 how much does it hurt? Also i sort of know its going to hurt more than ears pierced but how much more does it hurt? And what’s the worst bit? Thank you for any help

yes it hurts a it more than your ears as it takes a second longer and they are piercing more skin.
Pain:
The clamps: most people say its the most painful part, for me it was like grabbing some skin, i didn’t find it painful.
The needle going through: this was a very sharp pinch, lucky it only lasted a second.
The jewelry going through: this was the most painful for me, was a sharp pressure that lasted a few seconds.
On the whole I would rate it a 4/10. It hurt, but not for long.

for me it hurt like a 7, I’m not gonna lie it was pretty painful. i generally have a decent pain tolerance but for me it hurt. i think it might be because I’m quite thin and don’t have a lot of skin over the area. the piercing its self wasn’t actually that bad though. the pain only lasts for a second. the worst part was that you can’t bend over or lie on your stomach for a couple days and it kept getting caught on clothing. Its almost impossible to avoid this since the piercing is right in the centre of your body. all this being said i don’t regret getting it done and I’ve had it just over a year now. the pain is well worth it. it really can’t be too bad if almost every teenage girl has had it done.

Ive had mine pierced 4 times purely because it kept rejecting but everytime I had mine pierced I had it froze and the pierced, I felt no pain just the tugging of skin, the only pain I felt was from the clamps that was holding my skin whilst my skin was reacting to the solution he used to freeze it which was 2/10 in pain, so I don’t know how it feels without the solution but best to ask before just jumping in head first and always have a lucasade or an energy drink with you for afterwards to equalise your blood sugars again as many people go lightheaded 🙂 hope I helped and enjoy your piercing ^^

About 5/10 during. After hurts worse. It definitely hurts more than ears but it’s really not that bad. The clamp hurts more than the needle and it hurts more afterwards. It just stings. So worth it though.

4. I’ve gotten a lot of piercing and out of all of them my belly button hurt the least. They take clamps and put it where they pierce it. and honestly the clamps hurt more then it actually did when they put the needle through. Look up piercing videos on youtube to see how they do it.

they don’t hurt that much , i had mine done with a really good piercer , so it was ok , make sure you have a good piercer as well , it makes a difference. on a scale of one to ten i would say about a three , its not so much pain , but pressure and a slight sting .. but whatever pain is caused goes away very quickly , and your left with a really nice piercing . i say if you want it , go for it . good luck 🙂

well, it depends if you have an outie or not. my sister got hers pierced and it didn’t hurt her (she has an in-button) mine, however, hurt like a ******* ***** because I have an outie, which means for the piercing to not stick out or look weird, the piercing has to be upside down, or under the belly, where there is more fat than skin. i’m serious it hurt like a *****

dont think about da pain its only gona lasts lik 10 seconds anyways… it is gona b sore for a couple of days tho but u shud just b careful not to pull it or do any harsh moves…. ummm its also gona turn red for a couple of days but noo worries dats normal soo yeah…. have fun gettin it pierced hope i helped…
