On a cell phone, what does prepend do?

  well on my phone it allows me to add additional commands with the number. For example, I go to the number I want to dial and then I hit prepend. the number will be on my screen like this: 555-555-555 and prepend will allow me to insert other commands before the number itself like so: *67 555-555-5555. On my phone if i hit *67 on prepend it will block the caller ID on my call. Hope that makes some sense.

  it means that the text or call is wating to be delivered. Or it can mean that you need to send it again.
