My neighbours gas meter sits on my property. Do they have right of access? If not, can I insist it be moved?

  Although this is your property …. you own it and maintain it….. this would fall under a utility easement, which would include a strip of land anywhere from 10 to 30” wide. This should be included in your deed.

  if you complained to the gas company i dont know how they could not move it…i would not put up with my neighbors meter in my yard…tell the gas co. you want rent…

  I would imagine he does, since it pertains to his property. Is it really that big a deal?

  why is it a problem?

  being a good neighbor has never hurt anyone.

  there must have been reason it was placed where it is at the time.
