I live in UK, convert to Islam, say if eid is on Thursday for example, would taraweeh be on Wednesday ?

It all depends on the moon. If the people looking out for the moon– see it, then there won’t be Taraweeh, since it’ll be the first day of Shawwal the following day. (In other words, Eid). However, if they don’t see the moon & Eid is not the following day, then yes. There will be Taraweeh.

No. If the Eid is on Thursday. You do not have to pray Tarweeh on Wednesday.
Tarweeh is done only if you fast next day during Ramadan.
no, tarawih prayers are performed in ramadhan and ramadhan ends at maghrib on the evening before eid, what’ll happen is on wednesday at maghrib time they’ll look for the moon, if it’s there they’ll have a last lot of tarawih prayers on that night, and if they can see the first moon of the next month they’ll just perform isha on that night
nope, you dont need to. But in the rest of the days, you can pray kiyam or withr sunnah prayers. Eid day for celbration. So, make it festive and celbrate.
