  not sure about the meaning … i read a review/interview that said something about it being about global warming, but I dont know how much of that is true.

  Modest Mouse is an American indie rock band, “Dashboard” is a song o theirs and is the second track on their 2007 album We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank. The song was released as the first single from that album and peaked at #5 on Billboard’s Modern Rock Tracks chart. It debuted at #59 in the Billboard Hot 100 in early February 2007.

  actually, i think its a love song… ofcourse with metaphors and under disquise

  “well it shouldve been, could’v been worse the u would ever know”

  the line saying that it couldve been alot worse then it was, obviously, the break up

  “well we schemed and we schemed but we always blow it, weve yet to crash but we might as well enjoy it”

  this line saying that he planned and planned, but in the end it didnt matter cuz it didnt work out
