LST Credit Transfer on my credit card?

I went to see my activities on my credit card and there was a positive credit given to me called “LST CREDIT TRANSFER” which is the exact amount of my negative balance. It resulted in my balance equaling to $0 and seems like I owe nothing.

Is this too good to be true? I heard banks do this when they issue you a new card to prevent fraud but I never requested a new card. I was never even notified of anything.

What is going on? It came 2 days after my birthday. Is this a gift from my bank?

in order to have a “negative” cc balance your payments exceeded your charges whether you over paid a bill or returned something. CC do not like to carry credits so they sent you a check to clear the account

If this is your first credit card, there is no way you good have a credit score of 716. That would take 24 months of activity to get to that level. Forget about buying the gun. Just use it for small items and pay the balance the following month.

The old balance will simply appear on your NEW credit card, whether or not you requested a new card.

Check your new card;it will have a different account number and the old amount you owed. (and still do) No gifts here!
