My septum is mostly healed at this point, but the other day my friend commented on how far back it is pierced. She too has her septum pierced except hers is rather close to the tip of her nose. My nose is not very long compared to hers, I have more of a button nose. I do not think mine looks bad, but now I m questioning it. Is it supposed to be pierced further forward? And will my placement interfere with other types of jewellery like CBR s or clickers? Thanks 🙂

Yes, your piercing is too far back. That is not a properly placed septum piercing. It should be up and to the tip of your nose.

That is proper placement, regardless of the shape of your nose.
While I would personally suggest removing the jewelry and having it done properly (you wouldn’t even need to wait for the current hole to heal – it’s that far off), it’s really up to you. It’s not going to prevent you from wearing a properly sized CBR (though it might not look the best), but it may prevent you from wearing some clickers depending on the shape of your nose and the wearable length on the clicker.
No, I don’t think your septum piercing is too far back. Your friend may have commented on it because, as you said, people have different shaped noses. If you got it done by a professional, then everything should be good and you should be able to wear other types of jewellery. If not, then I still wouldn’t be worried about whether or not the piercing is too far back.
