  John Walsh of America’s Most Wanted was a big time exec when his son was kidnapped and killed. That’s why he does the show.

  Nope, I am in agreement with all of the above people. Sheriff John Bunnell only has a son named Mark. In regards to Sheriff Bunnell, he has been retired from the Multnomah County (OR) sheriff’s office since 1995 while his son Mark has been an officer on the police department for the city of Portland, Oregon since 1997. What can I say; like father, like son. Nowadays, I’m certain Bunnell enjoys his days of retirement by hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife and grandchildren (come on, he’ll be turning seventy-one this May, so I’m certain he has a few grandchildren).

  google john bunnell, he became a sheriffs deputy straight out of college. john WALSH of americas most wanted had a son named Adam who was kidnapped and murdered. he never became a cop though , he founded the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. (which is the reason why stores use Code Adam as the code for a missing child on the premises)
