Is ferric phosphate vegan?

I noticed this in enriched white rice. Is it likely to be vegan in this case?

Also, how is it derived from animal or the animal byproduct?

Ferric phosphate is an inorganic mineral of the formula FePO4 and is not derived from an animal or animal byproduct.

Ferrous phosphate is very similar to FePO4 and has the formula Fe3(PO4)2.

Both the above additives in white rice are totally OK for vegans.
