Is a polycarbonate iphone case a hard or soft cover?

  Polycarbonate, I believe, is hard. I have polycarbonate lenses in my glasses, it is a strong, durable type of plastic, better than just normal hard plastic.

  With the soft case it doesn’t protect the iPhone as much as the hard case but the soft case feels better in your hand. Or there is the otter box which is the best soft / hard case out. For it there is the phone on the inside then a hard case then a soft case.

  Polycarbonate means plastic.They use polycarbonate when they make the white macbooks.BUT it says “soft polycarbonate”,meaning it’s still hard,but has like a rubber feeling to it.

  Looks like a pretty good case to me.
