“I pray you” -Shakespeare?

I’m in a play and really know nothing about Shakespeare. In the play the main characters say “I pray you”. I was just wondering what it meant.

It means pretty much the same thing as “please.”

“I pray you, pass the weenies.”

    equals

    “Please pass the weenies.”

They say “Prithee” sometimes too. Same thing.
