I pay $150 a month for 2 classes/week for BJJ. Is that a lot for just 2 classes a week.?

I go to soca bjj Long Island, New York. Is 150/week for 2 classes good? Cause ive seen people say online they pay like 120 for unlimited classes. So im kinda thinking this price is ****. Anyone with experience mind helping?

That amount is really much and I feel it really hurts your pocket.

One thing, why not try to look around (at your area) if there are other BJJ school who are operating on such place, inquire about the amount of payments being offered, it is not reliable if some would compare it on their dojo / dojang which is totally different from BJJ.

Things are depend on the place which you belongs, if there is no other BJJ school available their, then, there is no other option but to grab it, just dedicate yourself on every session for the worth of your trainings.

    Good luck

    2 Muay Thai Classes

    1 Boxing Class

    1 Submission Wrestling Class

I use the Weights Gym 3 times a week.

Joe is wrong by the way,BJJ is a Martial Art. People say its a sport because MMA users, use it allot,But it is a Martial Art. Helio Gracie said that. Anyways I do BJJ 6 times a week, anything less than 3 times a week is not very good training. I go for 1 1/2 – 2 hours.

Lets see, I pay 30$ a month for 2 karate classes. And 65$ a month for 3 muay thai classes.

I am paying 95$ a month, but for this is I am getting 3 1/2 hours karate per week, and 4 1/2 hours of muay thai, plus brazillian jiu jitsu in each.

They are both really good dojos/gyms, and I learn a lot in each.

You are really getting ripped off. Find a better cheaper gym man!

See? This is just one more reason I accuse the dojo’s in the USA to be MC dojo’s.

I studied in Asia, I paid about $90 US dollars a month for 5, one hour lessons per week,

plus anytime I wanted to come in I was invited.

    Testing every 4-6 weeks,

Black Belt degree testing every 6-8 months

I think it is way high , twice a week for $120

I do both World Taekwondo Federation styled taekwondo and International Federation styled taekwondo.

For one week (which consists of 2 sessions lasting 90 minutes each) of WTF styled taekwondo it costs $80 Hong Kong dollars (which is around $10.3 American dollars). ITF styled taekwondo is a bit more expensive with a price tag of $100 Hong kong dollars ($13 American dollars) for the same amount of time.

I think, buddy, you are being ripped off at the moment! $150 American Dollars is $1164 in Hong Kong. WAYYYYYYY TOOOO MUCH!

That price is crap. I paid $80 a month for tae kwon do two times a week and even then I think it’s too expensive.
