How/Where do I get a BIOS update for my ASUS P4SD-VX motherboard?

Its a sony vaio pscv rs-420. The reason I need an update is because my pci slots arent registering my hi-speed usb card.

Go to Choose the region and click the download tab on the top of the page. Then locate the download link. You should come to page with drop down menus that asks you to choose the product, its series, and model. Choose all the appropriate selections, in this case motherboards, and it will direct you to a page that list driver and bios updates.

Sony is real good about updates, you should check there if you think you need a bios update, but it sounds to me like you just need to load the drivers for your usb card.

try to find drivers for your usb card from the manufacturers website before you go flashing your bios, that could be fatal to your computer if flashing fails.

    good luck
