how to clean a nos tank?

is because something is on my nos tank and i need to take it out

    nos is not a word. It stand’s for ‘Nitrous Oxide Systems’ which is a company. Call N.O.S. and ask them. Actually, I’ve never heard of anyone cleaning one plus there dated and the tanks do expire. Buy a new one.

    my main question is what the hell is it exactly? how could something even get inside, considering the size of the valve? check out your yellow pages and see if there’s a welding supply shop in your area. a lot of the independent ones deal with other stuff like Co2 and nitrous, they can probably help you out considering that a nitrous tank isn’t much different from your average welding tank.
