I am just wondering how many they have?

No one can be accurate but I’ve done some research:
If the human head has about 100,000 strands of hair, a dog should have about 15 times more than that.
Lots of people say it varies on the color:
The average number of hairs on a human head varies from 98000 (red-heads) to 120000 (blondes).
The number of strands of hair on a human head varies with color: BLONDE – 140,000 strands; BROWN – 110,000 strands; BLACK – 108,000 strands; RED – 90,000 strands
The average head has approximately 2,200 strands of hair per square inch, and a total of approximately 100,000 hairs.
For dogs:
6,587,632,428
It mostly depends on the size and type of dog you have.
Also the breed, color, ect.
No one will ever know unless they decide to spend their lifetime counting it.
I know chihuahuas have about 7 million, but i would guess a golden would have about… 14.8 million. But that can very. Is it a female, or male? Males have more fur. You should call you vet. If they have under 5 million, they can have a serious problem! ROFL!
I’m going to start counting right now. I will dedicate my life to this job. I will let you guys know when im finished. Black pitbull/lab
Last time I counted, I beleive it was 2.3 million hairs, but it changes of course during shedding season. lol
more than 9000
My weiner (dog) is about 21 inches and has 4.3 million hairs….I counted
I dont think anyone has the patience to start counting.
is there really an accurate answer to that or is it a trick question..??
None. They have fur, not hair. 😀
