You can probably figure a 2X expansion, so 50g couscous probably makes 100g of finished product. Typical recipes call for 1 part of couscous and one part of water. So 50 grams of couscous and 50 grams of water = 100 grams. Recipes usually call for a little salt as well, so the conversion is not exact here, maybe 1% off.
