    5(17)² / 10³

    = 5(17)² / 10²(10)

    = (5/10)(17/10)²

    = ½(17/10)²

    = 289/(2(100))

    = 289/200

    PEMDAS

    P. 17 to the 2nd power = 289

    E. 289 times 5 = 1445

    10 to the 3rd power = 1000

    D. 1445 divided by 1000 = 1.445

    Answer= 1.445

    (17)^2 / 2 * 10^2 =

    289 / 200

    What were the instructions? There’s nothing here to “solve”. The value of the expression is 5*289/1000 = 1.445
