I feel extremely refreshed and happy after clearing my mind and meditating…and simply listening.I guess that’s the equivelent of praying,although I don’t believe in a god in the traditional sense.I guess prayer is beneficial also,anything to connect.There is a profound verse in the bible that isn’t concentrated on enough,I think.Don’t feel like looking it up.It’s along the lines of “Be still,and know I am god”I’m not a bible goer,but that’s a great verse in it anyway.It should work for any philosophy
I pray to the one and the only God that there is. He is the Creator and Cherisher of the Universe and He is a great listener of prayers. I feel really cool and content till I am engaged in prayers. When I pray in a congregation, the reward is far greater and a lone air wave almost always touches my face and my body, as if Someone is showing His happiness.
I am grateful to my Lord, that He has allowed me to pray Him 5 times a day. It is something out of this world.

For me It’s not a feeling, but more of a “knowing”. God knows what I’m going through, and understands. Because i have a personal relationship with God we can talk any time about anything. Knowing God listens is probably the greatest reason for praying in the first place.Knowing that you always have someone to talk to and lean on is what relationship is all about. Knowing that God KNOWS is why I worship Him.
