How do I tuck my snowpants into my snowboarding boots?

My snow pants have an inner layer with an elastic bottom and an outer layer. Does this inner layer get tucked inside my boots or in between the inner boot and outer boot?

You don’t tuck them in! the only thing that should be in your boots is your socks, anything else will run and hurt you down the line. The elastic part in your pants goes over your boots to keep the snow out. The other non-elastic layer goes on top of that.

Don’t tuck them in. The inner layer (gaiter) has elastic and goes around the boots. There is a hook that you attach to your boot laces to keep them from riding up. Thus layer keeps the snow from coming in your boots. The outer layer provides insulation, decoration and abrasion and water resistance. it goes over the boot as well.

Between the inner and outer boot.

If you tuck it inside the inner boot, the snow/water will get inside your boot.

I used to stretch the elastic layer over my entire boot. My new pants aren’t wide enough though, so I just stuff em in.

The inner layer goes in your boots, you put it there before you tie them, then the outer layer goes over the boot so no snow gets in. 🙂 🙂
