How do I get carmex stains out?

  I use dishwashing liquid for all oil like stains. Just put dishwashing liquid on the stain and a little bit of water and sudds it up and let it sit till you have time to wash it.

  Carbona Stain Devil # 6 would be my best bet. I picked # 6 because it removes lipstick.Number 5 may be the one because it removes lotions and lubricants. I would think that lipstick would have the most similar ingredient to a lip balm.They have very specific formulas for different types of clothing stains and I have had 100% success with everything that I have tried it on.

  Yes, Dawn will work best! Don’t bother with the Carbona; that stuff doesn’t work very well. Just a few drops of Dawn on the stained area, allow to penetrate, and then agitate with a brush. That should take care of it!

  Sometimes you can have success with shampoo for oily hair too. Rub it on the stain and then run it through the wash again.
