ok i beat the game already and im trying to get the type writer gun
when i go to jump Leon falls to the floor
WHAT GIVES!?!?!?!?!?!?

There are 2 places where you jump off the chandeliers and in both cases it is just a matter of timing. Press jump straight AFTER the chandelier reaches the closest point to the target area , not before, as you will fall to the floor. The exact same thing happened to me in the church and i couldn`t figure out why as i`d done it plenty of times before. If you`re going for the chicago typewriter you don`t get it by completing the normal game, you have to do one of ada`s games, which one depends on which console you are using.
