If you actually purchased your copy and have two hours to kill, call microsoft directly. They will ask you a thousand questions and then provide you a new one. If you want to skip that and save time, find a copy of windows 2000 or later from a friend and use theirs.
Well, I guess above me are correct. I thought the Key was in the CD and you needed that specific code/number to make it work. But, I got tired of the Windows game and now use Ubuntu Linux and there are others. Free and the software free and Linux is starting to work great, just took a few years and the devotion of people that wanted an alternative to Microbutt.
Version 6.10 detected everything for me, including my Digital Camera (Not need the software). The Beta 7.04 people like you and me help provide input to make it the Best yet!

f course, you can buy the product key from the microsoft official shop, but it’s so expensive.
so i suggest you buy it from some online MSDN partner shop, like http://www.key4vip.com/ , with cheap price.

i met the problem before. considering their service, i gave up.
i just bought a new one from oggus.com after comparing several sites on yahoo, as their price attracted me.
